Our Story
Small Pearls of Hope was founded for the sole purpose of providing financial assistance to women with breast cancer.

The organization was founded by two sisters, one of which suffered breast cancer in 2005 and knows first hand the impact and burden cancer can pose financially. After many months of not being able to receive financial help for rent, utilities, prescriptions, and the like from any organization, the sisters decided to take on the responsibility of helping others in the same situation.

Since Small Pearls of Hope was created, they have been in touch with and have shared the pain of many women with nowhere to turn for help while going through the most traumatic experience of their lives. Sometimes making cancer itself “too much to bear”.

Breast Cancer does not end with treatment. All cancers are different and are treated as such. One womanʼs cancer may require her to have surgery first, chemotherapy and then radiation treatment. While another womanʼs diagnosis may require a totally different avenue. There are also bouts with depression, a host of physical ailments resulting from treatments, side effects and prescriptions. Cancer takes a toll on a womanʼs mind, soul, body and spirit.

At anytime within the process of recovery, a woman may need financial help. This is where Small Pearls of Hope will step in.

Small Pearls of Hope is dependent upon community support, Civic Groups,
Foundations, Corporations, volunteers and individuals, in turn looking for commitment to help an organization that endeavors to continue changing the lives of countless women and their families.

Our greatest objective is to help financially, from diagnosis to recovery, and sometimes after. Our passion is to deliver more than we promise.
